● We Are Nationally Board Certified PractitionersOur expert acupuncturists are nationally board-certified Diplomates of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. OM). In contrast with non-certified practitioners, this means our acupuncturists have gone to an accredited acupuncture school for a four-year master’s degree, and then passed four additional exams: biomedicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and theory and diagnosis of Chinese medicine. The result is acupuncturists with deep expertise in acupuncture and herbal medicine who are best equipped to help you work on your health concerns.
● We Are Doctors of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine - DAOMersWe have extensive post-graduate doctoral training and knowledge of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine beyond state licensure that only a few of our peers can match in the state of TX. We are equipped with the most advanced clinical and professional skills needed to expertly address the needs of today’s diverse patient population. These included advanced training in all aspects of TCM/Oriental medicine and within two core specialty areas, applicable biomedical science and advanced patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
The skills and knowledge that we acquired from DAOM allowed us to collaborate with allopathic healthcare practitioners in multiple disciplines to treat patients, conduct research, and engage in other scholarly activities. The DAOM program also gave us a chance to learn from top-notch teachers and practitioners who demonstrate superior knowledge and skill in their fields with a passion and commitment to healing. The program we completed was designed to foster collaboration, build professional networks, and participate in unique clinical learning experiences that prepared us on a deeper level in Oriental medicine and/or integrative medicine as skilled practitioners, respected professionals, teachers, leaders, and innovators.
