Dr. Belinda's Holistic Approach

Dr. Belinda uses principles of classical Chinese Medicine integrated with modern scientific analysis and technology to work with the body's innate healing ability. She will map out a holistic path to treat common ailments and complex conditions based on each individual's needs by using a variety of natural approaches, including acupuncture, diet, exercises, and other therapeutic methods.

Dr. Belinda can also help with a wide range of disorders caused either by emotional or physical imbalances. She can recognize your body's intrinsic wisdom and work with each patient to achieve optimal health and wellness. Her treatments are based on individual evaluations along with dietary recommendations, herbal medicine, and breathing exercises as a holistic approach.

It is the goal of her practice to help patients improve and maintain optimal health through prevention and natural healing.

Her treatments address both finding the answer to the root of the patient’s problem and developing a preventative measure to avoid progression. She helps them to continuously improve their health and reduce their dependence on medication in a natural way.

    She studied at the Guang Zhou University of Chinese Medicine for pain management. She also attended the Shanaxi University of Chinese Medicine for stroke victims, hemiplegia, and child cerebral palsy.
    At the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, she studied Acupuncture treatments, pediatric massage (Tuina), and how to ease complications from cancer treatments.
    Before training in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Dr. Belinda graduated from Memorial Hermann Massage & Spa Therapy School in Houston, TX. She is a licensed massage therapist through the State of Texas. She has worked with a chiropractor & physical therapists for the past ten years. Her approach to pain management includes the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach® and traditional Chinese medical therapy techniques.

  • Pediatric Massage Therapist

    As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Dr. Belinda has received advanced training in CPMT (Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist) to provide massage to children with a variety of healthcare needs. The training includes a variety of massage techniques for working with children with various physical, developmental, emotional, or mental challenges, like her Pediatric training with the Liddle Kidz™ Foundation.
    Pediatrics is a specialty of TCM – and while there are many folk remedies available. With a healthy diet & lifestyle, Pediatric Tuina can also strengthen the immune system & support the physical & overall development of your baby or child.
    Dr. Belinda has years of experience working with children as a health practitioner. Dr. Belinda takes special care to ensure both child and parent feel safe and comfortable during each session. Dr. Belinda is also well trained in (needle-free) acupressure or Tuina as an alternative to treating the sensitive child.
    Pediatric massage (Tuina) is an ancient form of Chinese massage. It can be a highly effective modality for treating commonly encountered childhood diseases. It is gentle, safe & is easily accepted by young children.
